“WHATEVER ROTARY MAY MEAN TO US, TO THE WORLD IT WILL BE KNOWN BY THE RESULTS IT ACHIEVES.”

—PAUL P. HARRIS

Our 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.

OUR CLUB

The Rotary Club of Liverpool West Inc. was first chartered on 28 June 1972 and has continued to operate since that time.
Rotary is a service organisation of  business,  professional and community leaders united  worldwide who conduct humanitarian projects, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, work toward world understanding and peace and encourage fun and fellowship in local communities around the world!
A Rotary club offers great opportunities for new friendships and personal development.
Our Rotary club encourages qualified members of our community to become a part of our commitment to service and welcomes people who wish to become active members of Rotary.
If you are interested in joining our club you should contact us to arrange to attend our weekly meetings as a visitor. We normally meet every Tuesday night at Mounties, 101 Meadows Road, Mount Pritchard, NSW with a Bistro Meal delivered to the meeting room from 6 p.m., the meeting commences at 7pm.
We also have a lunch time meeting on the second Wednesday of each month at the Bar Luck Restaurant, Level 1, 94 John Street, Cabramatta at 1 p.m.

To keep clubs strong, every Rotarian shares the responsibility of bringing new people into Rotary. Even new members can bring guests to club meetings or invite them to participate in a service project.

Membership responsibilities
What Rotarians get out of Rotary depends largely on what they put into it. Many membership requirements are designed to help club members more fully participate in and enjoy their Rotary experience.

Attendance
Attending regular club meetings allows members to enjoy fellowship, enrich their professional and personal knowledge, and meet members in the community.
If members miss a meeting of their own club, they're encouraged to expand their Rotary horizons by attending a meeting of any other Rotary club in the world.
