Community Support
A major focus of our Clubs activities is to support our local Community we support the following on an ongoing basis and many others on a needs basis.
 
 
The Liverpool District Men's Shed
The Club is proud to provide financial support to this fledgling group which is filling a great need in our Community.
 
Liverpool Hospital Wig Library
Our Club has been and continues to be a supporter of this valuable service that provides free wigs to people undergoing cancer treatment at the Hospital.
 
Liverpool Night Patrol
Our Club has been a long time Supporter of the St Vincent de Paul Liverpool Night Patrol. Liverpool Night Patrol is a homeless service operating five nights per week  within the Liverpool local Government Area . It provides sandwiches, blankets, toiletries, hot beverages and most importantly, companionship to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
 
Annual Free Circus
Thanks to continued sponsorship support from the business community, we have been able to stage this event which is held in the Fairfield or Liverpool Local Government Areas. currently we have 4 sessions spread over two days.
We have been holding this event since 2002. We have had attendances in excess of 6,000 in some years.
Free tickets are offered to disability support groups, women’s refuges, schools, church and community organisations.

Liverpool Hospital Palliative Support Group
We provided funding for Care Packs for patients and relatives.
 
Bankstown Hospital Junior Doctors Breakout Room
Jointly with another Liverpool Rotary Club we provided funds to refurbish this facility.
 
Braeside Hospital
The Club funded and Members constructed a Tranquillity Garden for the use of patients, families and staff
 
Miracle Babies
We held a fund raising dinner to provide financial support for this group which our Club has supported since inception.
 
Little Wings
We held a fund raising dinner to help fund the maintenance of and fuel for the aircraft Little Wings operate throughout NSW and Queensland transporting Children to Sydney or Newcastle for medical treatment.
 
Drought Relief
We have provided major support in Ungarie, Lake Cargelligo and Narromine/Trangie which included funding of a transportable outdoor cinema, Community BBQ’s, Drought Relief Vouchers redeemable in the local Communities, support for the local schools providing funds for excursions and books.
 
Bushfire Relief
We have provided support through donations to various appeals and to WIRES to provide aid to injured wildlife.
 
Flood Recovery Support
We provided support for the people of Woodburn in Nothern NSW which involved a Community BBQ, Grocery Vouchers and support for the two local schools and the people in this flood ravaged township. We provided support for the people of Eugowra in Central Western NSW, again with a Community BBQ, Grocery Vouchers and support for the primary schools and the community preschool.
 
Medical Research
We have continued to fund medical research by funding PhD Scholarships in conjunction with Australian Rotary Health.
 
COVID RELIEF PROJECT
The Club obtained a grant from Multicultural NSW and partnered with CORE Community Services during the pandemic to assemble and distribute 50 New Baby Packs, 30 Kindergarten Starter Packs and 140 Stay at Home Packs benefiting the low income, refugee and migrant communities in the Liverpool, Camden and Campbelltown local government areas.
