Dinner from 6 pm – Meeting Commences 7 pm
President John was back from his holiday to Singapore and Malaysia – he and his family loved Singapore, but that is all in the past now as he settles down for the end of his year as President and we break in our new venue. We had apologies from Sam Capra and Ted Mlynarz.
Next week we will have a presentation from Jeanette Johnstone about “Teacher in a Box”. This is an interactive presentation and those attending will learn! So bring your lap top or iPad. Guests will be welcome – some information is provided below:
Teacher in a Box provides offline access to extensive educational materials.
In many rural villages in developing countries, there is no internet, even in the main cities of the developing world, the internet is often slow or unreliable.
Thanks to the amazing generosity and efforts of not-for-profit educational software developers, our own computer donors and our volunteer workers, we are able to supply Teacher in a Box pre-loaded with a huge range of quality educational and training materials at minimal cost.
Teacher in a Box has a huge positive impact where there are limited teaching resources or teachers with limited training or education themselves.
Our servers support self-paced learning as well as classroom teaching. http://teacherinabox.org.au/
Members Raffle Jackpot will be $30.00 on 10th April 2018.
