We had reduced numbers as COVID and Influenza have affected many of our members and a number are traveling and/or hibernating for the winter..
Our Guest Speaker was Patricia Braden, Treasurer of Liverpool Genealogy Society. Patricia was accompanied by Peter Allen Project Officer of the Society.
Patricia gave us an insight into what has become a passion for her - Tracing Family Trees and Histories and provided us with some interesting examples. The Liverpool Genealogy Society has a work room at the has representation at the Liverpool the Liverpool Library. Where access to the Internet, Ancesrry.com and Find My Past.com are provided.
They also have Birth, Death and Marriage indexes for NSW, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia on CD Rom and Microfilm as well as Convict Records, Pioneers Registers and other valuable research documents and files.
They operate Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 3:30 pm and are happy to provide all sorts of assistance as you start on your search.
Patricia and Peter distributed kits to help us start the journey and applications to join the Society.
50th Anniversary and Change Over Dinner
This will be a great opportunity to introduce potential members to our Club.

Every member is on the Roster.
If you are rostered to work and for any reason you are unable to attend it is your responsibility to arrange for someone to replace you and work your shift.
Members who are rostered on will receive an email reminder the week before.
Tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5, 8 tickets for $10, 20 tickets for $20.
We have a good selection in wines for the major prizes and some other fun prizes.
