President John Pillay opened the meeting and welcomed Guest Speaker Bob Gosling

President John reported on the homeless dinner in Martin Place on Monday, 10 March 2025 and thanked those who helped out on the night and in the preparation of meals. He also thanked those who had donated clothing but stressed the importance of any donations being of high quality and clean to be of any use. The next date is tentatively set as Monday, 7 April 2025.
Police Officer of the Year 2025 - Asst Treasurer Gary Halliday distributed sponorship forms for this event and advised that two new sponsors have already come on board but to make the event a success we need more. He also advised that flyers and nomination forms should be available next week.
Intenantional Service Director Ted Mlynarz circulated a commitment sheet for the AHHA Annual Fund RAising Dinner to be held on 31 May 2025.

Liverpool Men's Shed
This was not Bob's first visit to the Club and his presentation updated members on the operations of the Men's Shed, the history of Men's Sheds in Australia and the work they do in the community while providing a valuable place for men to congregate, work and learn.
In the recent year the group has bulit nesting boxes for micro bats, street library boxes for the Liverpool District, restored furniture, built a special walker for a disabled child. One of their current is building a model railway which seems to be growing in scope and scale and will soon rival the Transport NSW network.

We will be back in Martin Place on 8 April 2025 distributing meals, drinks and clothing to the homeless of our City. If you are able to assist in any way contact President John Pillay.
