Our Annual Change-Over Dinner was held on Saturday 29th June 2019 at Mounties. As they usually do the Club provided us with and excellent venue and a great meal. We had as special guests Natalia and Emma. Natalia is from Jayapura in Papua and is currently undergoing major facial reconstruction surgery at Liverpool Hospital (Emma is her companion), as part of what is a joint Project between the Rotary Clubs of Bendigo Strathdale and Liverpool West.

Out- going President Jim Rudling made handed over donations from the Club to:
Liverpool Hospital Wig Library; Liverpool District Men’s Shed; Liverpool City Meals on Wheels;  Autism Advisory Support Service; St, Vincent de Paul Night Patrol; Wings for Kidz; Australian Health and Humanitarian Aid; Cambodia Vision; and Destiny Rescue.

The Club has had a busy year, firstly with the fund raising night for Miracle Babies, the Waidradra Village Water and Sanitation Project in Fiji, Drought Relief in Lake Cargelligo and the Golf Day raising funds for the Autism Advisory Service.

Jim then presented a Paul Harris Fellowship to Hilary Hutchinson in recognition of the continuing effort she has put into various fund raising activities that have been of great benefit to our Community over many years, Hilary is also an active member of the Inner Wheel Club of Liverpool Combined.

Jim then inducted Sam Capra as President for 2019-20 who then introduced his incoming Board.

At the District 9675 change-over, we were awarded the title 'Best Rotary Club for work in the Community' from the District committee. After 17 years of putting on a Circus for the underprivileged of Liverpool and surrounding Council areas, it was greatly appreciated to be recognised.

Thank You, District Governor Sue Hayward.
