President John tabled a Thank you card from The Principal of William Carey Christian School for the Club's support of the students going on the Kokoda Trek in July.
John also tabled an Invitation from Inner Wheel Club of Liverpool Combined to attend their Fund "Middle Eastern Feast" to be held at the home of Pauline and Alan Hall on Sunday 23 March 2024. The cost of the event is $55 per person, payable on the day - this includes a glass of bubbly on arrival all other drinks are BYO. Funds raised will go to support Youth of the Streets, Salvation Army Liverpool Liverpool City Meals on Wheels and Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney.
There will also be a raffle on the day with some fabulous prizes.

Secretary Jim Rudling reported on the Club Board Meeting held on 18 February 2025 including the increase in the level of support to the students from William Carey Christian School going on the Kokoda Trek in July 2025 and a donation to WeCARE Mission to assist in the purchase of Medicines for use in Cambodia on their visit in Jun 2025.
He also advised that the proposed BBQ for the Bradfield Developement Corporation has been delayed until May/June 2025.
Youth Service Director Greg Gibbs advised that the two nominations from William Carey Christian School for Sofia Knezevk and Alexader Bojanic to attend the RYPEN Camp at Teen Ranch in April.have been lodged with District 9675.
International Service Director Ted Mlynarz repored on the WeCARE Mission's fund raiser in Freedom Plaza on Sunday, 23 February 2024 to raising to purchase medicines to be used on their trip to Cambodia on 31 May 2025. The We Care Group provides free injections against the human pappilomavirus to the poor and displaced as well as other medical treatments. A significant amount was raised on the day thanks to the generousoity of the Community. Ted also tabled a letter of thanks for our Club's support.
Police Officer of the Year 2025 - Greg Gibbs reported that we are progressing with arrangements for the event and that we have already received a number of sponsorships for the event from new first time sponsors and that sponsorship forms were distributed electronically to members last week - we should have hard copies of the sponsorship forms and flyer for next week's meeting.
Jim Rudling advised that the Police Band has confirmed that they will be in attendance and that he will be issuing formal invitations to Mayor Ned Mannoun, Federal Member for Fowler Dai Le and the new member for Werriwa once known as well as to State Members of Parliament Charishma Kaliyanda and Tanya Ayyad.
We are looking for raffle and auction prizes again this year.
PP Tissa Perera reported the he has been advised that once the appropriate staff member has been appointed James Busby High School will be proceeding with the establishment of a Rotaract Club which the Club has agreed to support.
He has also been in contact with in relation to our Club having a coin collection facility and has been helped in this by Community Service Director Vinod Reddy who had past involvement in a similar operation at Sydney Airport
FEED THE HOMELESS - MARTIN PLACE

We will be back in Martin Place on 10 March 2025 distributing meals, drinks and clothing to the homeless of our City. If you are able to assist in any way contact President John Pillay.
