President Jim informed the meeting of his recent experiences of being a tourist guide in taking Natalia and Emma to the Blue Mountains and Cape Solander. Enjoyable times for both of the women.
Treasurer Gary has prepared the notifications for the next year’s Club fees to be distributed shortly and advised that he would be collecting the Dinner fees for the Changeover from Tuesday 18 June 2019.
After a recent holiday in Fiji he was able to report that the Fiji Water project is progressing after the flooding had subsided. All a bit ironic.
Tissa Perera announced that he had taken up the challenge of the training for participation in the activities of the St Vincent de Paul Night Patrol in the Liverpool Area.
Ted Mlynarz is delighted in the result of the soccer match between Australian Health and Humanitarian Aid and Macquarie Bank teams which raised $152,000.
Our Golf day was a success raising well in excess of $10,000 for the Autism Advisory Support Service, we are considering running a joint Golf Day with Wetherill Park Rotary Club in 2020. Congratulations Ted and Geoff on a job well done.
Bob Groat gave further planning information for the proposed 4-wheel drive weekend with a date in October being the most suitable. If you are interested in going on this adventure please talk to Bob about the various options.
