President Tissa Perera advised
That the venue for the Domestic Violence Awareness BBQ has been changed to Bigge Park (Opposite Liverpool Hospital);
Provided members with an update of the recent Board Meeting (Minutes of this Meeting are available to Members on Club Web Site);
That it is Proposed to hold an New Member Night on 12th March 2024, the Club will host potential new Members at at function to be held at Mounties and that a representative from District would be invited to attend;
The next Feed the Homeless BBQ in Liverpool will be held on Friday, 10th November 2023;
Welcomed John Bonnici, a former Member of Rotary Club of Liverpool Greenway as a new Member to our Club.
Youth Service Director Roger Mendis advised that he had sent invitations to participate in our School Service Awards to 34 local schools and to date had received 17 acceptances with 5 schools asking that a Club representative attend to presentation ceremony;
Community Service Director John Pillay advised that the next "Feed the Homeless in Martin Place" will be held on 20th November 2023 and then on 18th December 2023. At the December event it is proposed to distribute Christmas Hampers and well as meals;
International Service Director Ted Mlynarz advised that the team from Cambodia Vision were currently in Cambodia providing free Eye Surgeries, Medical and Humanitarian Support.
Club Service Director Greg Gibbs will arrange for January Breakfast Meetings to be held at Cafe Harvest in Bonnyrigg Garden Centre on 16th and 23rd January 2024 commencing at 7 am.
Greg will confirm and advise pricing.
PP Peter Beadle advised that he had represented the Club at the 25 Annual Liverpool Art Society Exhibition where he presented the John Mula Memorial Prize jointly funded with Rotary Club of Liverpool.
The Prize was won by John Wang for his painting "Beautiful Giant Bird of Paradise Series 3". As this is an aquisitive prize the painting will be held and used as prize at a future fund raising.

This year the Circus will be held at Fairfield Showground,
The session times are:
Friday, 24 November 2023 - 6 pm;
Saturday, 25 November 2023 - 10 am, 12:30 pm, 3 pm and 5:30 pm;
Sunday, 26 November 2023 - 10 am, 12:30 pm, 3 pm and 5:30 pm
We will need volunteers for each session to organize attendees, collect bucket donations at the end of each session.
We will not be selling food or drinks.

We are looking for a volunteers to work on the day
If you are rostered to work and for any reason you are unable to attend it is your responsibility to arrange for someone to replace you and work your shift.
Members who are rostered on will receive an email reminder the week before.
District Conference 2024 8 – 10 March 2024
Bookings are now open for the District Conference 2024. The Conference is being held at the Novotel Hotel, Cliff Road, North Wollongong, a wonderful location overlooking North Beach. District Governor Tonia Barnes and the Conference Team are hard at work finalising the program so keep an eye on the Conference Page as it will be updated over the coming weeks.
