It was the Club’s Annual General Meeting and we had a good roll up. The Audited Financial Report for the year ended 30 June 2019 was adopted and it available for viewing in the Member Area of our website.
Directors and Office Bearers for the 2020/1 year were elected/appointed, they are:-

Community Service Director: Tissa Perera;
Vocational Service Director: Russell Soedjadi;
Youth Service Director: Shiva Nandan;
Club Service Director: Peter Beadle (included Program and Social Functions).
Our Sargeant will be Joe Cachi and Russell Soejadi will continue as Raffle Meister.
We had a visitor, Ron Watkins, President Rotary Club of Liverpool. Because President Sam Capra was unable to attend the District President’s Meeting Ron accepted the following awards on behalf of our Club:
2018/9 Certificate of Polio Plus from the Rotary Foundation;
Two Banners from the Rotary Foundation recognising that in 2018/9 average contributions of US$100 per Member (Every Rotarian Every Year) and 100% Member Participation US$ 100 Average Giving (100% Foundation Giving Club).

Narromine – 2019
Travel to Narromine on 12th or 13th December;
Distribute books to the Primary and Pre Schools in both Trangie and Narromine;
Distribute small Christmas Gifts to Children at the schools;
Make donations to the “Hardship Funds” maintained by the 6 Schools in the District;
Provide $50 vouchers that will be redeemable at businesses in the District, these will be distributed by the local CWA and St Vincent de Paul and administered by Rotary Club of Narromine.
Host a Free BBQ/ Sausage Sizzle on Friday Evening 13th December in Tom Perry Park, on the corner of the main street (where the Glenn McGrath statue is located).
On Saturday 14th December travel to Pine Grove (37 km out of Narromine) where RC of Narromine is catering with their Food Van at a Clearing Sale. This will give members a good look at the dry farms and the opportunity to speak with local farmers.
Saturday evening a Christmas Dinner will be arranged for those going.

RAWCS BUSHFIRE APPEAL
A Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) project has been set up for the Bush Fire Appeal. The number of the project should you wish to donate is 19-2019-20. This was originally set up nearly two months ago during the Queensland fire events but has now been extended to cover the NSW fires as well. Money is now available for distribution.
On Sunday 16th November 2019 took the initiative and turned their normal fund-raising event into a Bushfire Appeal with all the funds raised on the day and many pledges made to go to the RAWCS Appeal. It looks like the Team from AHHA including the Rotarians who helped out have raised in the vicinity of $20,000. Donations are being accepted up to 7 December 2019 or you can visit the website:
The dates have been finalised and this annual event will be help in the Grounds of Bonnyrigg Sports Club on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2020. The Circus will again be staged by Brody Brothers, we will need Members to assist with the Sausage Sizzle, sale of drinks and marshalling of guest on all 3 days.
