Meeting 4 September:

In lieu of the usual Dinner Meeting on Tuesday night members attended the Police Officer of the Year function at the Liverpool Catholic Club. The function was well supported with approximately 150 people attending including District Governor Elect Di North. Members of the newly formed Liverpool City Police Area Command had a strong present.

All of the nominees were acknowledged by being presented with a certificate. The overall winner was constable Daniel Savona. Daniel will represent The Great South-West at the State finals.

The winner of the award for the unsworn staff was Sina Castiglione.
The Unit Award went to the Detectives.

A special award was presented to Acting Superintendent Paul Albury for his great achievement in seamlessly combining the two previous Liverpool and Green Valley Commands into the Liverpool City Command.
