At the meeting apologies were received from Sam Capra, Joe Cauchi, Frans Buskermolen, Tissa Perera, Shiva Nandan and Geoff Gibbs – the majority being overseas.
President Jim Rudling expressed a huge “thank-you” to Bob Groat for hosting Dr Miguel Lopez during his visit and involvement in the Natalia Project.
Jim was also delighted that the Sri Lankan Student Scholarship Project had received full endorsement from Rotary Australia World Community Service.
Secretary Alvan Freeman has received a certificate for the Club from Australian Rotary Health for its valuable contribution of $10,000 per member over the time contributions have been made. This has now been loaded on to Clubs Website https://www.rotaryliverpoolwest.com.au/photoalbums/recognitions-received .
Ted Mlynarz reported that the Golf Day was very good with $700 being raised from the raffle and $500 from the “Hit the Green” competition. Additional fundraising from the day are yet to be counted.
There is no meeting on Tuesday 28 May 2019 it has been transferred to to Combined Services Dinner on Wednesday 29 May 2019 at Liverpool Catholic Club.

Red Shield Appeal – Sunday 26 May 2019 -As usual we will be supporting the Salvation Army on this day by providing student transport to and from their collection areas and a sausage sizzle for the volunteers.
