The Rotary Club of Liverpool West was proud to support Cambodia Vision’s Annual trip to provide Ophthalmic, Optometric, Audiology and General Medical Services to the poor and needy of Cambodia. This year the trip was from 19 September to 29 September 2018 and was based at the Svay Rieng Provincial Referral Hospital in 
Cambodia. A team of 84, Doctors, Ophthalmologists, GP’s, Nurses, Volunteers and included from La Trobe University, 6 final year students in Clinical Audiology with their supervising Professor, all travelled at their own expense. Our President, Jim Rudling was one of the supporting volunteers. There were nearly 4000 patients seen during the fortnight resulting in 444 Surgeries, 3,100 General Medical Consultations and 800 Hearing Consultations. The team of Optometrists supplied 350 prescription eyeglasses, 1000 standard reading glasses and 3,500 Sunglasses.
