Dear Rotarians & Friends,

Tuesday 22 November 2016, we had apologies from Alan Hall, Jim Rudling and Robert Menolotto.

When I attended the District Presidents Meeting last week I was presented with a banner acknowledging our Clubs donation of US$100 per img_1958member to The Rotary Foundation for 100% of our Members giving us membership of the “100% Foundation Giving Club”, we are one of only three clubs in District 9675 to receive this honour (our Treasurer informs me that we had been achieving this for more than 20 years).

After a brief members meeting (reports from Directors) we moved into the Club’s Annual General Meeting:-

President Elect John Pillay presented his nomination for positions on the Board for 2017/8, there being no further nominations the following were elected:-

Secretary – Alvan Freeman;

Treasurer – Gary Halliday;

Youth Service Director – Sam Capra;

Vocational Service Director – Joe Cauchi;

International Service Director – Jim Leahy.

Sam Capra nominated Lawrence Hay to be President Elect for 2018/9, there was no other nomination and Lawrence was elected.

Other appointment for 2017/8 are Sergeant – Gary Halliday; Program Co-ordinator – Ted Mlynarz and Rafflemiester – Peter Beadle. Rinna will become Immediate past President this role encompasses new Members.
